Reverse Raffle

The 2011 Jaycee Reverse Raffle will be held on Saturday, January 29th at 6:00pm at the James Rhoades Center in Coalton, Ohio. Tickets are now on sale. Please contact a Jaycee or call 740-286-1339.In January each year, the Jaycees hold their annual Reverse Raffle located at the Rhoades Center in Coalton, Ohio. The Reverse Raffle is the Jaycee’s biggest fund raiser. Tickets are available for sale from September and up to the day of the raffle. The Jaycees sell 300 tickets at $50.00 a piece which entitles the ticket holder to one dinner catered by the fine folks of the Coalton Volunteer Fire Department and enters them in the raffle. The raffle begins as one ticket is pulled after another until  there are only ten tickets remaining. The holders of the ten tickets are then brought forward where they must decide amongst themselves if they would like to split the money or go all the way.  If the ticket holders decide to go all the way, one ticket is pulled at a time until only one ticket remains.
